Parish Discipleship Groups are the small group ministry of Christ Church & King’s Cross Church that aim to help us live out our vision—All of Christ, for all of Life, for all of Moscow.
The PDG Fall semester will start up in mid September and go into early December. In addition to the usual food, fellowship, and prayer, PDGs will begin a study of an overview of the whole Bible that is called “Kill the Dragon Get the Girl.” The curriculum is broken into 12 sessions aiming to get basic familiarity with all the books of the Bible and trace the gospel story throughout.
Groups are labeled as CC (Christ Church), KC (King’s Cross), KCD (King’s Cross Downtown Service), LSRC (Living Stone Reformed), CTR (Christ the Redeemer – Troy), and according to the membership of the host and leader. This allows those who would like to fellowship with families they worship with on Sunday mornings to find each other. At the same time, you are welcome to join any group regardless of which service or church you attend.
We will cap groups as they fill up, so as not to break too many fire codes. But if you would like to be in a group that is marked “FULL,” please reach out directly to the group host.
Childcare: Notice that some groups provide childcare on sight, some groups welcome children but do not provide childcare, and some request that you find your own childcare.
Meals: The general plan for each group is provided. Hosts will communicate specifics.
Please be aware that the church choirs rehearse on Wednesday nights and CRF meets on Thursday nights. If you wish to participate in either one of these ministries and a PDG, be sure to choose a PDG that does not conflict.
