Isaiah 12:3
Minister: Your sins are forgiven through Christ.
Congregation: Thanks be to God!
Minister: Christian, what do you believe?
Congregation: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin, Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hades. On the third day He rose again from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Minister: Blessed is he that considers the poor;
Congregation: The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Minister: I said, LORD, be merciful unto me:
Congregation: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against You.
Minister: Yes, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted,
Congregation: Who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
Minister: But You, O LORD, be merciful to me,
Congregation: And raise me up, that I may requite them.
Minister: Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting.
Congregation: Amen, and Amen.
