Bakwé Bible Bash

Looking forward to a wonderful celebration on Saturday! It will be a chilly Fall day, so here are some reminders:

– Bundle up and definitely bring your rain gear just in case (mud boots, rain coat, umbrella, etc.).
– Bring your camp/lawn chairs–the ground will most likely be a tad wet.
– There will be several fire pits to camp out around, never fear.
– We will start the event off with singing at 4:15pm. Song sheets will be provided!
– Please be sure to visit the Welcome Table to sign one of the books and view a few pages of the Bakwé New Testament.
– Feel free to bring an additional beverage if you’d like—we will provide water (and coffee/hot chocolate after dinner).
– Dinner will begin at 5:00pm.

Join us as we celebrate the Leidenfrosts and their astounding achievement of finishing the translation of the New Testament into the Bakwé language.

Celebration will include:
– Games for the kids
– Feasting (African-style)
– Singing
– A Bakwé reading by Csaba Leidenfrost himself

All you need to bring is:
– Blanket or chairs for picnicking
– Additional beverage if water just doesn’t cut it for you
